Throw Pillows

It’s easy to bring pops of color and soft comfort to your dorm room or home. A few simple throw pillows will do the trick. These pillows, except the blue flowered one, were made from clearance table napkins at Target so they were already the right size and the cost was minimal. You can sew these up in just minutes.

Materials Needed:

  • 2  18″ napkins for each pillow (find here)
  • 1  16″ pillow form for each pillow
  • Sewing machine

Let’s do this!

Begin by cutting off all hems on the napkins. Pin napkins right sides together so that the fabric won’t shift while you are sewing. Sew around three sides, leaving one side open. Clip sewn corners to reduce bulk. Turn right side out. Stuff pillow form inside. To close pillow, either hand sew the opening closed or pinch pillow form up a little to give yourself room and stitch closed with your sewing machine. How easy was that?
